Back in April last year I pondered the possibility that this 8-part TV series might be resurrected during the “1916 Commemorations” but dismissed the idea – seems I was wrong! The full series is to be televised on RTE One, on consecutive evenings, starting this Friday (18th March) but at the ridiculous time of five minutes to Midnight! Just to confuse matters further it will be 11.10pm on Saturday 19th and five past Midnight on Sunday. Anyway, time to sort out some way of copying it! Hopefully RTE will eventually get round to putting it out on DVD.
